Refund Policy

The short version

If you paid for Cubby and it is not what you wanted, email us within 30 days and we will refund you in full. You do not need to explain why.

Cubby is currently free

At the time of writing there is nothing to pay for and nothing to refund. This policy is published so it is in place before that changes, and it applies to any purchase made from the effective date above.

How to request a refund

Email stingwavekeyboard@gmail.com from the address you bought with, or include your order number. We aim to reply within two business days and to process approved refunds within five.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a few days more to show it.

What happens to your licence

A refunded licence key stops being valid. Cubby will not delete anything it has already saved on your Mac — your clipboard history, screenshots and recordings stay where they are, and you can export or remove them yourself.

After 30 days

We are not obliged to refund a purchase older than 30 days, but we would rather you were not stuck with software you do not use. Ask, and tell us what went wrong.

Try before you buy

Cubby can be downloaded and used before any purchase. We would always rather you found out it was not for you before paying than afterwards.

Statutory rights

Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law where you live, including the right of withdrawal available to consumers in the EU and UK. Where those rights are broader than this policy, they apply.
