Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Stingwave ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms are between you and The CKT Group LLC ("we", "us", "our").
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Stingwave for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
3. Your Data
You retain ownership of all content you create using Stingwave, including transcriptions and field notes. By using the App you grant us the right to process your voice audio and text solely to deliver the service to you. We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with third parties for any purpose other than operating the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
4. Third-Party Services
Stingwave integrates with third-party services including Google Sheets, Microsoft OneDrive, and Groq. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Stingwave to record conversations without the consent of all parties where required by law, to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the App or its backend services.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Stingwave is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that transcription results will be accurate. Transcription output should be reviewed before use in any professional context.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The CKT Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Stingwave, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Stingwave at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Stingwave after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
